Zeus was the son of Cronus and Rhea, an earlier race ofruling gods c tout ensembleed Titans. Cronus was king of all the Titans. Zeuswas the brother of Hades and Poseidon, Hades was the god of the infernal region and Poseidon was the god of the sea. Together theyoverthrew their father and the rest of the Titans. She hid Zeus in acave, and she gave Cronus a rock wrapped in cloth. he swallowedit whole just the like the other babies. Over the years Zeus grewstronger and wiser.
